Each stoneware mug is trimmed and polished by hand before receiving a coat of off-white reactive glaze. Once fired, the ceramic artists hand paint dark matte blue stripes on the exterior before a second firing. The results enliven the rustically shaped mug with a unique display of flecks and free-flowing lines.
